Land with a Plan

Our ambition to create 5,000 homes in the next 5 years continues to be a top priority. On that basis, we’re actively seeking new land opportunities across the regions. 

We’re proud of our unique and considered approach to land acquisition, as a reflection of our position as community creators, rather than just property developers. Where others shy away from complicated sites due to perceived risk, unwillingness to explore solutions, and the notion that an easier site is right around the corner, we do not. When we see potential in a piece of land and it feels right for us, we utilise our experience and spend the time to find the answers using our holistic perspective that enables us to go against the grain of the industry. 

Previously this was evident in our acquisition of Anthology Hale Works, the final piece in the eleven-phase redevelopment puzzle of Tottenham Hale, and Hale Village. We were initially runner-up on the site, with a much larger developer being the originally selected bidder. However, they were unable to get approval for the acquisition, and despite the uncertainty of the time regarding the EU referendum result in 2016, we secured a deal to benefit us and the Landowner without cutting corners and ensuring our promises were delivered. 

As we look to acquire our next plots in creation of both our open-market and later-living residential communities, we’re humbly confident in our capacity for agility as a privately funded homebuilder. Our approval process is efficient, and our team is equipped and trusted to make well-considered decisions. Our strong reputation precedes us, and we look forward to what the future holds.
